We keep an open dialogue between you and your instructors and daily feedback. An online Accountability Journal will help you track your progress, share it with your coaches for feed back and keep you on track!
Choosing a level to participate in is solely based on your comfort level, your level of understanding and your level of physical activity. Do not think about where you should be for your age, listen to your own body reflect on your current activity level and choose what is attainable. If you are uncertain it is usually best to go with the easier level when you are first starting out so that you can slowly acclimate your body to the demands of structured movement that is meant to work the body. Building a solid foundation will ensure your successes in the long run.
The Fundamental Boot Camp will help you understand basic movements of the body while focusing on strength, alignment, balance and range of motion. We use exercise patterns that are set to phrases of music. These phrases help elevate mood, increase endurance and are work-enhancing while reducing perceived efforts. Our choreography is based in Pilates, Yoga and Modern Dance amongst other disciplines. The workouts include the use of StrapUp 360 Resistance Strap (included with the Program).
This level incorporates Basic actions such as bending, pushing, pulling, rising, sinking, shaking, stretching, swinging, swaying, twisting and turning. These are activities that we use throughout our daily life. Our Fundamental Boot Camp level will teach proper movement technique. core engagement, appropriate intensity level, and pacing.
We begin in a seated position and use the StrapUp 360 Resistance Strap, as a method to move and control our body weight against gravity. The seated starting position helps build upper and lower strength as well as core strength. We especially focus on the mind-body connection to strengthen the weaker areas of the body. By creating stronger neuromuscular connections with proper body mechanics you can grow exponentially towards your goals
This level works to integrate the body’s nervous system, muscles, and brain, to encourage them to all work together as a system.
